Graphensic and Chalmers are part of an international collaboration in an effort to explore the performance and limits of Hall sensors based on epitaxial graphene on SiC. The specific goals of the project are related to producing sensors that offer the high sensitivity needed for operation in real application, e.g. in the automotive industry.
By using epitaxial graphene as the core of novel Hall effect sensors, we aim at outperforming state of the art commercial Hall sensors widely used in automotive industry applications.
The project is partly financed by the Swedish Innovation Agency and will be carried out during the spring of 2018. More information can be found here.
